TOWN OF SEDGWICK

SELECTMEN’S MEETING

August 24, 2009

 

            Selectmen present:  Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger, Victor Smith

 

            Also present:  Assistant Barbara Grindle

 

            Meeting called to order at 3:30pm. 

           

1)                 Minutes of the last meeting approved.

 

2)                 Tom Morris, representing the Blue Hill Library, was in looking

for a volunteer for the Library’s 5 year projection committee.  Nelson will find someone to represent Sedgwick.

 

3)                 A resident was in to request an abatement form.

 

4)                 Salt was ordered by Bill.  Snow contractor was informed and will be contacted when it is ready to be delivered.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 5 pm, so that we could assemble at the Town House to caucus for a member of the County Budget Committee.  Nelson was nominated and elected to that office.
