SELECTMEN’S MEETING
February 3, 2022

Opened the meeting and established a quorum present. Selectmen present: Ben Astbury, Michael Sheahan (by phone Bob Publicover). Also present: Assistant Barbara Grindle, CEO Duane Ford
(by phone: Jeffrey Roth, Jerry Wetterskog, Allen Kratz, Parket Gassett)

There being one revision in the minutes of the last meeting, moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to accept them as amended.

Reviewed and signed the treasurer’s warrant for 104,176.86: education $53513.11; clearing m/v $508; clearing i/f $534; clearing h/f $68; clearing a/w $127; plumbing $264.50; administration $10,135.36; town office $439.99; general assistance $573; fees $335; snow $36,120; town dock $265.99; fire protection $666.67.

CEO REPORT: People have been checking in with building notifications, etc. Have an issue to be dealt with later.

DISCUSSION ITEMS: 1) Community Resilience Partnership – Kratz and Gassett explained the plan, in conjunction with Brooksville and several surrounding communities, to band together to get funding and work together to combat climate change. Would Sedgwick like to join the group? Selectmen moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to support their efforts. Will do a letter to that effect.
2) Any Unresolved Business – Moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to sign an agreement returning a dog to his owner. Sheahan will contact the owner.

ACTION ITEMS: None

ASSISTANT’S REPORT: Gave selectmen 3 years of disbursement records for comparison purposes.
