SELECTMEN’S MEETING
February 10, 2022

Opened the meeting and established a quorum present. Selectmen present: Ben Astbury, Michael Sheahan. Also present: Assistant Barbara Grindle, CEO Duane Ford, Danny Weed (by phone Jerry Wetterskog, Jeffrey Roth).

There being an adjustment in the minutes of the last meeting, moved, seconded and voted to approve them as amended.

Reviewed and signed the treasurer’s warrant for $7,293.77: general assistance $1674.81; snow $1,771.52; sludge $45; multi-town projects (solid waste) $598.33; animal control $250; administration $309; fire protection $2,053.11; clearing m/v $592.

CEO REPORT: Lots of communications this week. Questions about setting up a machine shop and bakery – needs a site review and to go to the Planning Board for any business; what to do to change a property in the shore land zone from residential to commercial; erosion control on a Carter Point property done –will check on it; heads up regarding erosion control on Salt Pond (the So. Blue Hill Bridge).

DISCUSSION ITEMS: 1) Scheduling of Annual Business Meeting: Set the date for the referendum for April 29; set the business meeting portion of the Annual Meeting for April 30. Municipal election will be held March 4.
2) Any Unresolved Business/Updates: None
Planning Board Chairman Weed suggested that the changes in the ordinances be put on the town website. Copies will be available at town meeting.
