Planning Board Minutes
Called to order: 19:15
Members present: (by teleconference and at town office due to COVID 19) David Carter, Peter Neill, Richard Doane, Chairman Danny Weed, Alt. Andy Bowes, John Woodward
Others present: CEO Duane Ford, Selectman Robert Publicover
Chairman Weed stated that there was a quorum
Motion made and seconded to accept June 2021 minutes as read. Motion passed.
Review of Site Plan to continue before next planning board meeting
Selectmen appointed John Woodward as full member of board to fill vacancy. Motion made and seconded to accept appointment.
Strong Brewing could not make change to the parking area. Board will not sign permit until changes made.
Darrell Brown to build camp on Map 2 Lot 21-2A. Within shoreland zone. DEP permit by rule required. 140 feet from Walker Pond. Within shoreland zone. Driveway already installed. Temporary pier needs to be removed. Septic to be beyond 250 feet from shore. Septic permit paid for but not issued. Vegetation to be replanted after construction of camp. Contractor certified for work in shoreland zone. CEO responsible for issuing permit.
Mike Hewes presented plan to former CEO for steps to shore. DEP permit by rule required.
Eider Lane pier will require planning board approval before start of construction
Dawn Hurd of DEP about 156 Carter Point Road issue. Will write letter to involved parties informing that zone can not be changed to commercial fishing zone and will not be able to establish lot because of lack of minimum lot size.
Motion made and seconded to adjourn. Motion passed. Adjourned at 20:12.
