SELECTMEN’S MEETING
August 1, 2013
Selectmen present: Neil Davis, Nelson Grindal, Victor Smith
Also present: Durward Parkinson, CEO Duane Ford, Tax Collector Belinda Pert, Assistant Barbara Grindle
1) Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
2) Signed treasurer’s warrant for $10,973.79; administration salaries, unemployment compensation and taxes totaled $7,631.28.
3) Selectmen received a copy of a letter from the lawyer for Mr. McCarthy on Carter Point informing his neighbors that they have illegally installed a culvert on his property and he will have it removed.
4) Grindal asked about going on the budget committee for Hancock County Planning Commission . The selectmen voted 3-0 for him to hold a position on the committee.
Voted 3-0 to adjourn at 6:20 pm to attend an inspection tour at the former Camp 4 Winds.
