Selectmen’s Meeting

March 25, 2008  Tuesday  3:30PM  

Selectmen present:  Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger and Tom O'Connor.

 

Other participants: Selectman’s assistant Barbara Grindle and Roger Picard of Pavement management services.

 

1. Approved the minutes of the March 20, 2008 selectman’s meeting.

 

1. Mr. Picard discussed the cost of paving for the upcoming year.  It appears that the cost of asphalt will increase substantially due to the high cost of oil.  Although a final price has not been established an estimate of $75 a ton is within reason.  That figure would be about $20 more than last year.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 5:00PM.
