Selectmen’s Meeting
June 5, 2007 Tuesday 3:30PM
Selectmen present: Nelson Grindal and Tom O'Connor. Other participants: Access committee members, Neil Davis, Barbara Grindle, Diane Kornmeir, Emily Webb and Basil Bowden, Caterpillar Hill initiative Represeintive, Kelly Mitchell. Tax collector Belinda Pert.
- Approved the minutes of the May 31, 2007 selectmen’s meeting.
- Approved abatement (#194) in the amount of $281.85 for Don O’Grady for personal property that was billed in error by the town.
- Ms. Mitchell gave an update concerning the efforts to obtain the Condon trust land for the purpose of preservation. Access committee members discussed how the acquisition would affect the town beach property. Presently the Condon Land trust is one of the abutting land owners to the town property. Access committee members also reviewed a letter which was sent to abutting land owners concerning the town’s intentions concerning the Walker pond property. The letter was sent by the town attorney on May 23 and we are awaiting responses.
