Selectmen’s Meeting

March 8, 2007  Thursday  6:30PM   

Selectmen present:  Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger and Tom O'Connor. Other participants:  Road Commissioner Paul Carter and Adm. Assistant Barbara Grindle. 

  1. Approved the minutes of the March 6, 2007 selectmen’s meeting.

 

  1. Approved the treasurer’s warrant (#23) in the amount of $141,062.37.  $127,879.16 of that amount was for school expenses.

 

  1. The results of the Walker Pond survey which had been distributed to tax payers will be posted around town to make as many people as possible aware of the results.  They have also been posted on the town’s web site.  Selectmen discussed the timing of the special town meeting concerning access to Walker Pond.  The goal is to set a date far enough in advance so people will have ample time to plan to attend.  A final decision will be made in the next few weeks. 

 The meeting was adjourned at 8:45PM.
