CEO REPORT:  Checking up on a question regarding a shed to be built in the shoreland zone and the setback necessary.  Harbormaster mentioned that the shoreland stabilization project needs to be done.

DISCUSSION ITEMS:  1)  Resignation-Planning Board – Selectmen moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to accept the resignation of Peter Atherton from the Planning Board.  Peter has served on the board for many years and he was thanked for his service.

2)  Preparation for Town Meeting – Checked with clerk/registrar to make sure that everything was ready, both at the Town House and the school.  Everything seems to be ready to go.

3)  Any Unresolved Business – a)  Since Publicover was with us by phone, discussed the Shoreland Stabilization Project and the bids received.  Eaton’s Paving and Excavation’s bid was $46,260, Brian Billings’ bid was $34,500.  Moved, seconded and voted to accept the bid from Billings; Astbury will notify both companies of the decision.

b)  Sheahan attended the webinar on the funds coming from the federal government.  We should get approximately $126,000, but there are many restrictions on spending the funds. We have until 2024 to commit the funds, and 2 more years to completely spend them.

c)  Astbury just reminded everyone about the referendum Friday the 4th and town meeting Saturday the 5th.

ASSISTANT’S REPORT:  The assessors are still here for at least one more day.  Set her vacation starting July 5.

ADJOURN:  There being no further business, moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to adjourn the meeting at 6:49 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Barbara Grindle, Assistant
