SELECTMEN’S MEETING

December 13, 2012

 Selectmen present:  Neil Davis, Colby Pert, Victor Smith

 Also present:  Tax Collector Belinda Pert, Treasurer Cindy Reilly, CEO Edward Michaels, Assistant Barbara Grindle

 1)         Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.

 2)         Signed the treasurer’s warrant for $65,009.97; $57606.44 was for the school, $365.95 for general assistance, and $3,858.52 for salt for the roads.

 3)         The budget committee will begin work on the budget for town meeting the first week of January.

 4)         An estimate for a lockset for the handicap door ranged from $240 upwards.  Pert will call for someone to check on the hardware needed.

 5)         Davis will contact a resident on a land exchange right-of-way.

 6)         CEO asked if the town would purchase a color cartridge for his use in printing manuals for the town’s use.

            7)         Went into executive session at 7:15 pm, exited executive session at 8 pm.

Returning from the executive session into public session, the selectmen decided to send a counteroffer to the lawyer for the Pattens.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm.
