Selectmen’s Meeting

June 3, 2008  Tuesday  3:30PM 

 Selectmen present:  Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger and Tom O'Connor. Other participants:  Selectmen’s assistant Barbara Grindle and Road Commissioner, Paul Carter. 

1. Approved the minutes of the May 29, 2008 selectmen’s meeting.

 

1. Road Commissioner Paul Carter went over cost estimates for anticipated summer projects.  The cost of asphalt has increased about 30% this year and will limit what we can accomplish.

 

1. 3. Selectmen prepared a letter for the town attorney Jim Patterson attempting to answer questions poised by the Sturtevant family concerning the access to Walker Pond.

 

1. Approved a homestead exemption request for Shannon Pert.

 The meeting was adjourned at 5:20PM
