SELECTMEN’S MEETING

October 21, 2021

 

Opened the meeting and established a quorum present.  Selectmen present:  Ben Astbury, Bob Publicover, Michael Sheahan.  Also present:  Clerk/treasurer Cindy Reilly, CEO Duane Ford, Assistant Barbara Grindle, Donna Beninati, Jerry and Alison Wetterskog, John Czuj, Jeffrey Roth from the Packet.

 

Read the minutes, moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to approve them as amended.

 

Reviewed and signed the treasurer’s warrant for $7,305.27:  town office $230.61; legal $1,296; town office equipment $975; clearing m/v $4010; fees $220; administration $94.46; town dock $479.14.

 

CEO REPORT:  Been a good week, the Perrigo house has a lot of interest, mostly for rental purposes; a request for a mobile home in a blueberry field; most of the broker’s questions answered regarding a Main Street property; a closing on a Carter Point Property, can they place a new shed? where?; delivered a building notification form to a Hales Hill property.

 

DISCUSSION ITEM:    Discussed the special town meeting format with the members of the broadband committee.  They should be prepared to answer questions from the townspeople present.

 

ASSISTANT’S REPORT:  Three members of the Budget Committee have responded and are willing to serve again.

 

ADJOURN:  There being no further business, moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to adjourn the meeting at 6:24 p.m.   Moved up to the Town House to attend the Special Town Meeting.
