SELECTMEN’S MEETING
June 6, 2019

Opened the meeting and established a quorum present. Selectmen present: Ben Astbury, Bob Publicover, Michael Sheahan. Also present: Jerry Wetterskog, Horace Wardwell, Clerk/treasurer Cindy Reilly, CEO Frank Tracy, Assistant Barbara Grindle.

Amended the minutes of the last meeting (ACO was slightly injured when stepping on a knife). Approved the minutes of the last meeting with the amendment.

Reviewed and signed the treasurer’s warrant for $16,752.03; fire protection $1,349.27, administration $8,874.41, plumbing $305, clearing $5,307.05, fees $314.20, general assistance $488.73,
town office $113.37.

CEO REPORT: Very busy with septic inspections and building notifications.

DISCUSSION ITEMS: Benjamin River Bridge finally nearly completed. Need to make contact with DOT for the promised inspection.
Broadband CEO for GWI in Brooksville for a meeting. The application in the works and if approved will hopefully cover all expenses for installation for most people. Thinking a time frame of the 4th quarter of this year or the 1st quarter of next year for the confirmation of the grant/loan.
Will speak to Lucius Bridges to see if he will give an estimate for painting the Town House and the trim on the Town Office.
Reminder of the Walker Pond committee meeting at 5:30 p.m. next week.
Sent a clarification letter to a taxpayer regarding an animal problem.
Assistant to ask RJD to put off the market analysis until after the first of the fiscal year in July.
