TOWN OF SEDGWICK
SELECTMEN’S MEETING
January 25, 2018

Opened the meeting and established a quorum present. Selectmen present: Ben Astbury, Colby Pert, Michael Sheahan. Also present: Clerk/treasurer Cindy Reilly, CEO Duane Ford, Assistant Barbara Grindle.

There being no errors or omissions in the records of the last meeting, moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to dispense with reading the minutes of the last meeting and accept them as written.

Reviewed and signed the treasurer’s warrant for $77,966.59; school expenses were $76,301.22, fire department expenses $434.66, sludge $187.50, administration $235.65, town house $14.75, town office $369.79, streetlights $182.02, general assistance $241.

NEW BUSINESS: Nominated Colby Pert for the Spirit of America award. Moved, seconded and voted 2-0-1 (Pert abstained).

OLD BUSINESS: Worked on the Town Report.

CEO REPORT: Met the DMR representative and the selectmen at the Town Dock to discuss the main float and the finger floats. Calling around for estimate for building the floats locally. The date has been set for the Shoreland Zoning hearing from the planning board. Tiny houses are now under the state’s building codes.

ADJOURN: There being no further business, moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to adjourn the meeting at 8:15 p.m.
