Selectmen’s Meeting

September 20, 2007

Thursday  6:30PM   

Selectmen present:  Chairman, Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger and Tom O'Connor. Other participants:  Town clerk, Cindy Reilly and Road commissioner Paul Carter. 

  1. Approved the minutes of the September 18, 2007 selectmen’s meeting.

 

  1. Approved the treasurer’s warrant (#12) in the amount of $122,719.37.  $102,180.68 of that amount was for school expenses.

 

  1. Selectmen and the road commissioner discussed the purchase of salt for the upcoming winter season.  Also discussed was bridge work that needs to be done on Carter Point Rd.  Selectmen need two weeks advanced notice so that we can put a ad in the paper concerning the road closing.

 

  1. Selectmen have accepted the resignation of three members of the Planning board of appeals.   Those members are Eric Allen, Olney Grindle and Horace Wardwell.  Selectmen would like to extend their appreciation for the service to the community that these individuals have provided.

 The meeting was adjourned at 8:40PM
