CEO REPORT:

Duane discussed selective cutting of trees on Silvermine Rd. He was hoping G. Field from BHHT would be attending to ask about the easement on this property with new construction. Bob Manheimer intends to change his shorefront structure and move in back a bit. He believes that this project could trigger planning board approval. Has had a few calls regarding bank foreclosed home on 619 reach Road.

DISCUSSION and/or ACTION ITEMS:

  1. How will we be conducting interview of Road Commissioner position, template is possible- Not asking for a resume for RC. Will go over responsibilities which will prompt questions- Lyndsey will print out job description and questions. Lots of discussion around this position as it will be a change from years past. A newly appointed position will give the authority and final to say to the Select Board. Lyndsey will coordinate with applicants for interview. For Deputy- will being receiving resumes and interview as they come in. The board asked about the treasurer replacement, Lyndsey was unaware of the status and will ask Amy about that.

ASSISTANTS REPORT:

Final ballot has been printed, and sample ballot posted. There was some back-and-forth communication regarding the number of students attending GSA. We reached a final number of 31 students. The Superintendent was grateful for more time to prepare the budget for this year’s open town meeting which we have pushed to June. Lyndsey received a call regarding the invasive plan species and the plan and whether or not we entered into a contract. Susan reminded Lyndsey that we did not sign a contract and she is awaiting correspondence from the rep in charge of the removal project.
