SELECTMEN’S MEETING
Minutes
Thursday, December 18, 2025
Budget Workshop at 5:00 pm
Open the meeting and establish a quorum: S. Ford; B. Duffy; D. Carter; D. Ford; L. Dow and members of the public present.
Read and approve the minutes of the last meeting: Motion and 2nd to accept as written. 3-0 approved
CEO REPORT: Duane gave his report for the week including updates on the Shore rd. project, trees/stumps on the Buckley property and remediation and DEP permits at Stumpy cove.
DISCUSSION and/or ACTION ITEMS:
(1) Hancock County Animal Control Contract- Motion and 2nd to accept and sign 2026 contract. New ACO replacing Daniel McKay. Lyndsey will post info on website. 3-0 approved.
(2) Reese Jones Tree Growth Application- Mr. Jones called to say that he finally heard back from a forester and that she wouldn’t be able to get to his plan until close to April- this is past the original agreement that his plan be completed by the end of this year. Select Board okay with waiting, as it will be up to the assessor’s agent to penalize if necessary for noncompliance.
