Selectmen’s Meeting
February 21, 2008 Thursday 6:30PM
Selectmen present: Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger and Tom O'Connor. Other participants: Town Clerk/Treasurer Cindy Reilly, Selectmen’s assistant Barbara Grindle and Fire Chief David Carter.
- Approved the minutes of the February 19, 2008 selectmen’s meeting.
- Approved the treasurer’s warrant #34, in the amount of $158,233.83.
- Chief Carter has received the signed contract from the fire truck manufacturer E-one. They are requesting an initial payment of $50,700 to ensure Sedgwick’s position in the manufacturing schedule. Selectmen approved the expenditure which will be reimbursed by the federal grant. The money is included in warrant #34.
- Selectmen signed appointment papers appointing Dr. Denis Deslivey as the town’s Health officer.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:40PM.
