Sedgwick School Strategic Plan Community Survey to Launch
The Sedgwick Elementary School Strategic Planning Committee wants to hear from you! Please share your thoughts about the future of our school by completing the community survey, which we will be collecting from September 9th through 20th. The online surveys will be available on at SedgwickSchool.org and SU76.org. Printed surveys will be available at Sedgwick Elementary School, Sedgwick Town Office, Eggemoggin Country Store, El El Frijoles, and the libraries in Blue Hill, Sedgwick, and Sargentville. If you prefer to provide input to the survey questions in person come to our public meeting at Sedgwick Elementary School on Monday, September 16 at 5:30pm. Note – a separate meeting will be held on Monday, October 7th at 5:30pm at the school to go over the results of the survey.
The survey questions will focus on issues such as: Is the Sedgwick School the right school for your child? What knowledge and skills do children need to be good students and to be good citizens? What is working and not working in the school now? How can the school be the best it can be? And should looking into school consolidation be a long term goal?
