Selectmen’s Meeting
December 18, 2007 Tuesday 3:30PM
Selectmen present: Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger and Tom O'Connor. Other participants: Selectman’s Assistant Barbara Grindle, Tax Collector Belinda Pert and Fire Chief David Carter.
- Approved the minutes of the December 13, 2007 selectman’s meeting.
- Chief Carter discussed the specifics of the recently awarded FEMA Grant. The total fire truck cost is set at $213,550 of which the town is responsible for 5% or $10,677. The federal government will contribute $202,873. The next step in the process will be to select a vendor. Selectmen reiterated their thanks to Chief Carter for his tireless efforts to obtain this grant.
