Selectmen’s Meeting
Thursday, November 9, 2006 

Selectmen present:  Nelson Grindal, Chairman, Charlie Wiggins and Tom O'Connor. Other Participants:  Adm. Assistant Barbara Grindle and Town Clerk Cindy Reilly. 

 

1. Approved the minutes of the November 7, 2006, selectmen’s meeting.

 

2. Reviewed and approved the treasurer’s warrant (#19) in the amount of $174,462.83.  $100,000 of that amount was authorization to renew a certificate of deposit for town funds.  $27,804 of the amount were payments to various charities, which were approved at the March town meeting.  

 

 3. Selectmen reviewed the first draft of a purposed town-wide survey concerning access to Walker Pond.  The goal is to gather information so a final decision can be made at the town meeting in March of 2007. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. so that selectmen could attend a meeting at the Town House concerning planning board concerns about development on Walker Pond.
