Selectmen’s Meeting
March 23, 2007 Thursday 6:30PM
Selectmen present: Nelson Grindal (Chairman) and Tom O'Connor. Other participants: Town Clerk, Cindy Reilly and Adm. Assistant, Barbara Grindle.
- Approved the minutes of the March 20, 2007 selectmen’s meeting.
- Selectmen approved an application for an auto recycling business for Mr. Sheldon Kane. The local approval is required prior to applying for a state issued permit.
- Approved the treasurer’s warrant (#38) in the amount of $99,490.20. $58,342.47 of that amount was for school expenses. $28,000 was for the Blue Hill Surry transfer station.
- Selectmen approved moving forward with the handicap access for the Town House. A grant has been obtained which will reimburse 80% of the cost.
