SELECTMEN’S MEETING

February 21, 2013

 Selectmen present:  Neil Davis, Colby Pert, Victor Smith

 Also present:  CEO Edward Michaels, Treasurer Cindy Reilly, Tax Collector Belinda Pert, Road Commissioner Paul Carter, Roger Picard

 1)         Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.

 2)         Signed the treasurer’s warrant for $98, 807.34; $68,765.73 for the school, $12,000 for Webb’s Excavation for snow contract, $10,000 for Paul Carter for snow contract, $1,930.44 for salt and $2,580 for printing the Town Report books.

 3)         Carter and Picard discussed the paving of Old County Road as mentioned last week.  It is used more, and is in poorer condition, than the   Christy Hill Road which is scheduled for tarring this year on the 10-year plan.

 4)         Davis will call the lawyer to get the agreement on the Patten negotiations.

 There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm.

 Town Report books are available at C & G Growers in West Sedgwick, Eggemoggin Country Store in Sargentville, at the Town Office in Sedgwick, and will be available at the Town House on both Town Meeting days.

 

            Don’t forget to vote on Friday, March 1from 1 – 6 pm, and to come to the meeting on Saturday, March 2 at 9 am to discuss where your tax money is going.
