SELECTMEN’S MEETING

February 24, 2011

 

Selectmen present:       Nelson Grindal, Colby Pert, Victor Smith

 

Also present:    Harbormaster Bill Grant, David Webb, Road Commissioner Paul Carter, Arron, Angela, Chace, Clare Grindal, Packet reporter Bette Britt, Dorrance Sexton, Clerk/Treasurer Cindy Reilly, Tax Collector Belinda Pert, Assistant Barbara Grindle/

 

1)         Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.

 

2)         Signed the Treasurer’s Warrant for $31,678.82, including 1^st

 quarter payment of $24,660.75 for the Blue Hill Transfer Station.

 

3)         Signed Auditor’s letter from James Wadman, accepting the figures for the audit.

 

4)         Signed the snow contract papers (2-1, Pert will sign after Town Meeting if approved) with Paul Carter and Webb Excavating, LLC.  Contract papers were notarized by the town clerk.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:10 pm and everyone enjoyed retirement cake with Selectman Grindal.
