PLANNING BOARD      July 14, 2009

 

            THE SEDGWICK PLANNING BOARD MET AT THE TOWN OFFICE WITH PALMER LITTLE, CHAIRMAN, DAVID WEBB, JOHN ALLEN, SYLVIA WARDWELL, SELECTMAN VICTOR SMITH.

 

            PAUL TROWBRIDGE CAME BEFORE THE BOARD TO ASK FOR A PERMIT TO HAVE AN ANEMOMETER PLACED ON THE PROPERTY OF GORDON GIANNINOTO, LOT 10, MAP 2, LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE PROPERTY.  THIS IS UNDER THE UNITY COLLEGE PROJECT.  THE METER WILL BE UP FOR A YEAR TO MONITOR THE AIR CURRENTS AND WINDS.  THERE WILL BE A ROD OF 110 FEET IN HEIGHT.   NO SOIL WILL BE MOVED TO ERECT THIS METER.  THIS IS CALLED PENINSULA POWER CO-OPERATIVE INITIATIVE.  THIS WAS GIVEN AND THE NEXT STEP IS TO HAVE A WINDMILL OR MAYBE MORE ERECTED IF THE PROJECT IS SUITABLE FOR WINDMILLS.  TROWBRIDGE ALSO MADE OUT AND PAID THE $5 FOR A BUILDING NOTIFICATION FORM FOR THIS PROJECT.

 

            PAUL TROWBRIDGE CAME TO THE BOARD WITH HIS SNOW COVE SANCTUARY SUBDIVISION MAP AND FINAL PLAN TO BE SIGNED.  THIS WAS DONE AND GIVEN TO HIM TO FILE AT HANCOCK REGISTRY OF DEEDS IN ELLSWORTH, MAINE.  MAP 11, LOT 4.

 

            PALMER WANTED ALL OF THE MEMBERS TO GIVE HIM A LIST OF PEOPLE TO REPLACE VICTOR SMITH ON THE BOARD.  HE IS NOW THE  THIRD SELECTMAN OF THE TOWN OF SEDGWICK.
