Town of Sedgwick Maine
Selectmen’s Meeting
May 22, 2008
Thursday
6:30PM
Selectmen
present: Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger and
Tom O'Connor.
Other
participants: Clerk/Treasurer, Cindy
Reilly, Selectman’s Assistant Barbara Grindle and Road Commissioner Paul
Carter.
- Approved the minutes of the May
20, 2008
selectman’s meeting.
- Approved the treasurer’s warrant (#47) in
the amount of $167,162.68. $162,630
of that amount was for the new fire truck payment which will be reimbursed
by grant money.
- Selectmen have developed a priority list
of road work projects which should be completed this year. The list was discussed with road
commissioner Carter who offered several comments.
- Selectmen decided to re bid the snow plow
contract due to the difficulty in comparing to two bids that were
received. One of the bid’s format
did not lend it self to comparison.
In the interest of fairness it was felt that the process should
start over. The new bid will be
advertised and due to be submitted on June 5, 2008.
The meeting was
adjourned at 8:00PM.
Respectfully
submitted
Tom O'Connor
