Spring Fling Music Concert We had a great music concert on Tuesday night due to the efforts of all the children, parents and Ms. Lamerson. Many thanks go to Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Warren, Mrs. Monteith, Ms. Swann and other staff for making the time to practice and encourage our children to sing. Eighth Grade Events Eighth graders have more than the usual number of activities over the next few weeks. These are very important activities, so please note them. Last Day Of School Assuming there are no more school cancellation days (for storms, etc.), the last day of school will be Thursday, June 16. It will be an early dismissal day with buses leaving at noon time. Field Day On Thursday, June 16, students will enjoy a new fun event -- Field Day. The morning will feature a wide selection of activities for all kids. Jennifer Gray, a member of PTF, has spearheaded this special event. She is looking for help, so if you can spend some time here on the 16th, please call the school. IMPORTANT NOTICE In order to prevent owed balances on meal/milk accounts at the end of this school year, there can be no ‘charging’ of meals or milks effective Wednesday, June 1st. Students must have money on account for all meals and snack or extra milks for the last two weeks of school. Dessert Theatre On Friday, June 10 at 6:00 PM, students in grade seven will be performing an original play, The Three Bears, the Smashed House and the Broken Heart, as a fund raiser for their grade 8 class trip. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids ages 4-10. Children under age 4 are free. A wide selection of delicious desserts will be served. This will be a nice way to spend an early summer evening and an even better way to help the seventh graders out.
